CALL FOR PAPER AFRICAN JOURNAL OF LAW AND PRACTICE

2025-03-29
The Editorial Board of the African Journal of Law and Practice is currently inviting papers from legal academics, practitioners, and scholars across a broad legal spectrum to be published in June 2025. The African Journal of Law and Practice addresses a wide range of legal issues related to the legal profession, practice, and development. It publishes original research focused on developing and disseminating cutting-edge legal scholarship, both locally and internationally, as well as conceptual, thematic, and reflective/positional articles. The journal is an online publication by the Faculty of Law at the Open University of Tanzania.     Contributions to be accepted are those that have not been published or are not being submitted for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts will undergo double-blind peer review to ensure a fair evaluation, and authors must avoid including information within the text that discloses their identity and affiliation. A complete mailing address (including email and telephone number) of the author or the person to whom all correspondence regarding the manuscript should be addressed must be provided.     All manuscripts will also undergo editorial review for in-house style, relevance, quality of work, and scholarly content presentation. The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject, edit, or shorten any manuscript submitted and approved for publication after review. A decision on each manuscript will be made promptly and communicated to the authors.     We encourage authors to submit their manuscripts online to chiefeditor.afjlp@out.ac.tz by visiting the journal’s website at https://journals.out.ac.tz, where the criteria and guidelines for manuscript submissions are available for easy reference. The deadline for submission is 30th April 2025.
